Best window is Wednesday 14 October from 05:30 to 08:30, when the flood has been running for about three hours in the dark on springs with light south-westerly wind and moderate sea. For a second option, Thursday 15 October from 06:30 to 08:00 also scores well on the same dark, flooding conditions with mid tides, though the sea is a little rougher at about 1.0 m, and cod are rarely caught from this shore in summer, so October is only a fair season for them here.
