Wednesday 14 October from 07:00 to 10:00 is the best window, with light south-easterly wind, five hours into the flood on springs, dawn light and moderate seas. Wednesday evening from 19:00 to 22:00 is a close second, but the seas are a little bigger and it is dark, and Thursday's sessions look rougher at 1.6 m or more, so this is an out-of-season week to watch for swell.
