Best bet is Saturday 17 October from 07:00 to 09:30, when three hours of flood tide, dawn light, light south-westerly winds and peak October season all line up, though the sea will be rough at about 2.4 m. A good second option is Saturday evening from 19:30 to 22:30, which has the same flood tide and light winds in the dark, but expect rough seas there too, so check conditions before heading out.
