Best bet is Wednesday 14 October from 06:00 to 07:30, when the flood has been running for about four hours on big springs, with light south-south-westerly wind, dark conditions and a moderate sea. Thursday 15 October from 17:30 to 19:30 is the other good option, on the flood at dusk with light north-westerly wind, though the sea is a little rougher at 1.5 m.
